Comment picker
Paste your comment entrants, clean up duplicates, and give everyone a fair chance.
Who’s the lucky one?
Your next winner is just a click away.
Every draw has its moment.
A better way to use a comment picker.
A comment picker takes the pressure out of choosing. Whether you are organizing a community event, celebrating a milestone, planning a classroom activity, or sharing a giveaway with your audience, start with a clear list of eligible entries. Decide the rules before you draw, make sure every entrant qualifies, and keep the final list consistent with the rules you have shared.
Paste each eligible commenter as a separate line. This version does not connect to Instagram or fetch comments from a post URL. Review your comments yourself, exclude ineligible entries, and decide whether multiple comments count as multiple chances. Keep usernames intact so you can identify and contact the selected person.
Randomness is not a guarantee that every person wins over a small number of draws. It means each eligible entry has the same chance in that selection. Our instant picks and shuffles use secure random values supplied by the browser, with a rejection step that avoids bias when converting those values into a list position. The reveal animation adds anticipation without deciding who wins.
Once the result appears, copy it for your announcement or save it in your own event records. For giveaways, announce the result according to the rules you published and give the selected person a reasonable way to respond. Never include sensitive personal information in public room names. Choose Winners is an independent utility and is not affiliated with Instagram or other social platforms.
For a different format, try a raffle, shuffle your entire list, or use a wheel for a small decision. You can switch tools without creating an account. Each tool focuses on a simple outcome, while eligibility, prize fulfillment, and any legal or platform obligations remain the organizer’s responsibility.
A few things worth knowing.
Can I import comments from a post link?
Yes. Paste a link to a public Instagram, Facebook or TikTok post and we pull up to 1,000 public comments. Private posts and hidden comments cannot be read, and very large posts may miss some, so you can always paste entries manually. Only include entrants that meet your giveaway rules.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The tools are available without a registration form. Live rooms use a private host credential to protect the spin action.
How are duplicate entries handled?
Remove duplicates is enabled by default. It removes identical trimmed lines, while differently spelled or differently capitalized names remain separate. Turn it off only when repeat entries are intentional.
Can I copy the result?
Yes. Use the copy button after the result is revealed. Your browser may ask for clipboard permission; if it refuses, select and copy the displayed result manually.
Is Choose Winners free?
Yes, these tools are free for visitors. You are responsible for checking eligibility, publishing your own giveaway rules, and following any applicable platform requirements.
